Quelap, Chachapoyas, Amazonas

After a night of drinking a strong set of Pisco Sours and smoking cigars with a French painter, I made my way to the city of Quelap - a Chachas centre built on a hilltop.

The Chachas were a power often in contention with the Inca Empire and played a pivotal role when the Conquistadores under Pizarro invaded.
